I went swimming in the Gulf on Saturday, ever so briefly! Yikes but that water is cold. Amazing how the Gulf is in the low 90s in the summer and feels like a jacuzzi, and can be this cold over the winter months. I do look forward to it warming up again so I can go snorkeling for shells. Like I need more of them LOL. I am running out of space to display them! I must have 100,000+ shells at this point. I have them in jars on shelves in my livingroom, and in the basin of my fountain out in the yard and within the past year of collecting I have only certain shells in each jar. Makes a nicer display. I may make something out of them someday and then again at some point may just dump them all on the beach again and give tourists a real bonanza to take home... [img]cool.gif[/img]
You should build a desk out of them.
Stack the jars up as the base and then put a plexiglass case full of shells on as the top.
I wanted to send greetings from Florida, but because our hosts were all so kind as to turn the heat on for us, I spent most of my time outside.
You see, it was COLD in Florida. When we arrived in Tallahassee, it was a frigid 65*, and Trav's daughter had the heat cranking. In Stuart, the temperature plummeted to 62*. It was awful. Truly awful. [img]smile.gif[/img] Last Friday we went riding; the high was 68* and our hostess offered me long johns and an extra pair of gloves.
In Gainesville, Anthony and Jen had the heat on; it was about 72*.
Glad you guys had a safe trip back. In the 60's! [img]eek.gif[/img]

Between 45-50 I feel uncomfortable and below 45 is downright frigid to me anymore.
